UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHERS
Brandon TiptonBrandon spent most of his life in Cabot, AR until he graduated from Cabot High School in 2019. Then he moved to Fayetteville knowing that he wanted to learn more about nanotechnology after he took a tour of the nano-lab building here in his first year. He reached out to Dr. Nayani his sophomore year, and began working in his lab learning all he could about the field and research. Now, he plans to go to graduate school after completing his chemical engineering degree at the U of A. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys biking along the Razorback Greenway and Lake Fayetteville and tabletop games.

Jayden GoffJayden graduated from Farmington High School (Farmington, Arkansas) in 2018. His research interests include tissue engineering and biomaterials. His career goal is to go to medical school after graduation. Some of his hobbies include playing and watching basketball and football. He also enjoys reading, watching movies, solving Rubik's cubes, and playing card games.

Isaac HopwoodIsaac Hopwood is a senior undergraduate studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Arkansas. His research interests lie in high performance materials mechanics and sustainability, and, after graduation, he intends to pursue a doctorate in Materials Science. In his free time, Isaac enjoys long-distance running, playing Magic: The Gathering with friends, camping, and hiking.
|
Jackqueline Steinman-PtacekJackie is interested in having a career in the consumer industry. During her undergraduate research, she hopes to gain lab experience and a clear understanding on the Design of Experiment and its many applications. In her spare time she likes to play golf, hike and sketch.

Ana MillsAna graduated from Little Rock Central High School in the spring of 2020. She is a second year undergraduate at the University of Arkansas pursuing a bachelors degree in chemical engineering. She is interested in investigating how modern problems can be tackled through the lens of chemical engineering. She would like to use what she learns at the university to create innovative solutions in the real world. As a chemical engineer, she would like to synthesize products and optimize old processes in a way that has less environmental impact. In doing so, she believes we can increase the productivity of our society by making better use of our limited resources. Outside of school, she enjoys painting and volunteering with the Sierra Student Coalition on clean-ups around Fayetteville. She also volunteers weekly at the on-campus food pantry.
|
Dominique SavageDominique is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a senior undergraduate studying chemical engineering and is double minoring in sustainability and Mandarin Chinese at the University of Arkansas. Her research interests include bioinspired materials, process optimization, and water quality. Post-graduation, she aims to work in the industry sector as either a consultant or process engineer. She enjoys hiking, reading, and volunteering and is the president of the Sierra Student Coalition.
